About Me

Sharm El Sheikh 2007

Breckenridge 2005

Snowdon Horseshoe 2003

I have been a keen amatuer photographer now for over five years. I used to take photos using traditional film but with the advent of digital cameras, I find they offer much more flexibility, scope and of course the useful delete function which has saved me lots of money and time over the years compared to film!
The majority of my photos have been taken abroad whilst on holiday or at work. With places visited ranging from Auckland, Singapore, Vietnam, Vancouver, Denver to Capetown to name just a few, I have been lucky enough to always have a good and varied subject matter.
The aircraft and ship photos have been taken during my time in the Royal Navy whilst embarked on HMS Nottingham, HMS Chatham, HMS York and HMS Glasgow. Whilst the automotive ones are mainly of my car and from various meets with fellow owners of the MR2 Owner's Club.
I do not profess to be an expert or professional by any means and as such I simply use a Fuji F601 Zoom and more recently my Fuji S9600. I do, however, enjoy taking photos and have recently enroled on a photography course so I can finally learn what all the buttons on my camera are for and get away from the auto setting!
